Residents encouraged to register to vote

Friday is the last day to register to vote for the municipal elections to be held on Aug. 26.

That gives area residents just a few days to get registered if they plan to vote.

We encourage everyone to register and vote in this upcoming election.

There are many qualified candidates in the various cities, and we want the voters to put the best candidates in office.

Those who are elected will become the voice of the people.

These municipalities need as many people as possible to vote in the upcoming election in order to put the best candidate in office.

Registering to vote and the act of voting only takes a few minutes.

Every vote counts and we want everyone to have their voice heard.

This upcoming election is important to the future of our cities, and we want to see high voter turnout.
