The Opelika District W.H.O.M. Missionary Department held its second executive board meeting on Monday, July 5, at 8:30 a.m. at the home of Dr. and Mrs. A.L. Wilson. The meeting was well attended. Mrs. Vance, Mrs. Exie Boykin of Columbus, Ga., Ms. Vivian Street of Midland, Ga., Mrs. Mary L. Thomas of Opelika and Mrs. Geneva E. Pearson of Camp Hill were present. Commission should go further
Good news indeed that the Tallapoosa County Commission is beginning to get control of its large debt. The commissioners are justifiably proud of the “Sejin story” and the much-needed jobs the plant brought to the area. Kudos to the Commission. Read story
